This tutorial walks you through setting up the Leatherback project—a reinforcement learning project led by Eric Bowman (StrainFlow) during the Study Group Sessions in the Omniverse Discord Community. The project demonstrates a driving navigation task where a four-wheeled vehicle must navigate through a series of waypoints within the Isaac Lab Simulation environment. This is a classic robotics problem combining path planning and locomotion control.
